Dunster Cinema opens for the autumn season on Friday (September 3) with Oscar and Golden Globe winner Nomadland.
It is the first in a series of six films to be screened in the Memorial Hall at three-weekly intervals until the season ends on December 17.
Nomadland won the Oscar and the Golden Globe for best picture, and Frances McDormand won ‘best actress’ Oscar. The film has been described as ‘a beautifully rendered tale of what it means to be disenfranchised in America’.
Doors will open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Tickets will cost £5 per person and can be bought on the door. You may bring your own refreshments. Enquiries: call 01643 821528.
