WATCHET and District Choral Society will be giving two performances of this year’s spring concert this week.

The first is at Watchet Methodist Church on Thursday, April 11, and the second at St George’s Church, Dunster, on Saturday.

The programme will consist of Fauré’s well known Requiem of 1888, and an entirely contrasting piece by Flanders and Horovitz: Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo.

The choir, under the direction of David Knight, will intersperse these two works will be interspersed with arrangements of three short anthems. Both concerts start at 7.30pm.
