We would like to thank everyone who supported the event in any way, whether by attending or by providing raffle prizes.
The evening was a great success despite the weather – which probably made more than a few people reflect on the dedication of a group of people who would have been prepared to put to sea even in those conditions had the call come.
Supporters may like to know the next major fundraiser is a hog roast and jazz night with the Darktown Strutters in the lifeboat house on Bank Holiday Saturday May 24.
