MEMBERS of the 1st Watchet Cub Scouts competed for crowning glory at their annual summer camp, which was held at West Bagborough.
The 23 cubs were joined by ten beavers for a special jubilee tea party held in a marquee festooned with Union Jacks, bunting and balloons.
The youngsters were challenged to make crowns as part of the jubilee fun, with the results judged by Pam Jamieson, the assistant county commissioner for cubs and Jackie Dascombe, a member of the district executive.
District commissioner Martin Harborne, group president John Russell and group chairman Tom Harrington also attended the event, which was preceded with a mini Commonwealth Games competition.
During the camp, the cubs also enjoyed an outing to Crealy Park, near Exeter, walks on the Quantock Hills and even tried their hands at archery.
The cubs and beavers are pictured with their regal creations.
