THREE men have been arrested after a 90-year-old Minehead pensioner reported that money had been taken from a bank account.

Mixed reaction from West Somerset residents to new tidal lagoon proposalThe men, aged 34, 43 and 62, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit fraud. The 43-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply. All three were released on bail.
An Avon and Somerset spokesman said police had received a report from a Minehead bank that a customer had complained that money had been taken from an account without their knowledge.
The spokesman added: “We would remind people to keep a close eye on their finances and to never give out any information such as PIN numbers, which could compromise financial security.”
He added that inquiries were continuing.
