A CHARITY that helps families living in remote locations to get together for play and learning, clocked up a “fantastic” summer with 122 families using its services.
CLOWNS (Creating Learning Opportunities in WesterN Somerset) has just issued its summer report and said it visited eight different locations around West Somerset and held eight family activity days with everything from science experiments to water fun, bug hunting to junk modelling.
The normal autumn timetable has now started with a host of activities and groups from pop-up play and toy library, to tumbling toddlers and wild walks, at locations around West Somerset.
