LOVE was in the air at the Scewfix Direct Christmas party at the West Sports and Social Club.

Jamie Underdown, of Westfield Crescent, Yeovil, who works in the Screwfix distribution warehouse, got up on stage in front of 500 people and went down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend, 19 year-old Natalie Jeffery.

"I was pretty nervous but I was delighted she said yes." said 21 year-old Jamie.
