CHRISSIE Thomas is going up to London from Dulverton on June 12 to be a guest at the Queen’s 90th birthday party.

She is not quite sure why she has been invited but no-one else in Dulverton has the slightest doubts about the reason.

“Chrissie is a most amazing person,” said a long-time friend Wendy Gunn.

“She has done so much for the town.

“Everyone knows her and is thrilled that this has happened to her."
