CHILDREN from Timberscombe First School have been ringing in the festive season and spreading a little Christmas cheer among West Somerset's senior citizens. Pupils have been busy practising their handbell ringing sings and carol singing before embarking on a mini-tour of a trio of residential homes in Minehead. Their first port of call was Blenheim Lodge on Wednesday, where they performed a selection of carols and festive tunes. The children will also be performing for residents of Broadlands Residential Home on Monday and at Wyndham House on Tuesday.
