Tim Edmonds took this picture a female crab spider last Sunday in his garden in Minehead.

It was on a heather and had woven a small web over the flower so that any insect trying to get to the nectar will instead get caught.

“It shows what surprising and interesting things can be found close at hand,” said Tim.
