Sir — With regard to new Williton parish councillor David Kirkham's remarks on drug use at Doniford car park (Free Press April 10): we use the car park regularly and we have not seen any sign of drug paraphernalia (needles, bongs etc).

We would like to know where Cllr Kirkham got his information from and when he last visited the car park.

Does he not know it is a S.S.S.I. site and hundreds of people use it? Has he worked out the cost of fencing it off, after which it would be used for fly tipping?

J Rigby,

Bridge Park,

Doniford.
