Sir — With regard to new Williton parish councillor David Kirkham's remarks on drug use at Doniford car park (Free Press April 10): we use the car park regularly and we have not seen any sign of drug paraphernalia (needles, bongs etc).

Does he not know it is a S.S.S.I. site and hundreds of people use it? Has he worked out the cost of fencing it off, after which it would be used for fly tipping?
