The ‘mystery visitor’ praised the facilities at Wimbleball, commending the “excellent service” in the activity centre and café.
Wimbleball Lake is for everyone, regardless of age, ability or interest, and offers family-friendly activities on and off the water.
Phil Timings, head of sport and recreation, said: “It’s fantastic to receive this award and recognise the incredible efforts made by the Wimbleball Lake team and South West Lakes as a whole.
“We continue to listen to and act upon feedback from our visitors, such as the building of new camping facilities starting next week, and hope that many more people will come to visit us in 2018.”
