A BUS carrying passengers has overturned on a key Somerset A-road, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the scene and Avon and Somerset Police said a small number of people were onboard the bus. Nobody is thought to have sustained serious injury and recovery work will be carried out in due course.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “There was an update just after 12pm to say the road has since reopened, however, it will need to be closed again later as the bus is of the side of the road, and it will need to be removed. The road is now open.”
