TWO fire crews attended a blaze which broke out in a house in Minehead on Boxing Day.
A microwave caught alight at about 6 pm and set off smoke detectors in the property.
Minehead firefighters initially attended the scene and were quickly joined by a second crew from Williton.
They found the building was smokelogged, but everybody inside had already evacuted the property by the time the fire teams arrived.
Two firefighters used breathing apparatus to go inside the house with a thermal imaging camera and a CO2 extinguisher.
The microwave was badly damaged and there was light smoke damage to the kitchen area.
A fire brigade spokesman said the cause of the fire was accidental and nobody was hurt in the incident.
