A motorcyclist suffered leg injuries as a result of being trapped under a bailer machine on the A30 at the Hardington junction near Barrows Hill.

The accident happened on Friday (July 19th) at around 4.30pm. The road was closed while the motorcyclist was freed and treated on the scene before being taken by ambulance to Yeovil District Hospital.

There have been no further reports about his condition.
