BICKNOLLER Village Hall was filled with blooms and flower arrangements for its spring show – even though it was thought that all the daffodils were over.

Fifteen exhibitors put in a total of 149 entries and the judges said the standard was as high as ever.

The Bake-Off attracted a total of seven cakes, and the winner was Lucy Croxton for her decorated coffee and walnut cake.

Bicknoller Flower Show secretary Carole Darke said the organisers would like to thank all who helped to make it such a happy event – committee members, helpers in the kitchen and setting up the hall, the judges, all the exhibitors and all who came along to enjoy the display.
