MINEHEAD Handbell Ringers marked another year of fundraising music-making when they handed over a £250 cheque to the Children's Hospice South West. The team, which draws its members from across the Minehead area, was formed more than ten years ago and each year collects money for a nominated charity at concerts given throughout the year. For the last 12 months, the chosen charity to benefit from the efforts of the handbell ringers has been the Children's Hospice South West, whose hospice is in North Devon, with another about to be built in Wraxall, North Somerset. The charity's representative Maggie Good is pictured, far right, receiving the donation from Martyn Snell and other handbell ringers at a presentation last week.
