SIR — I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who helped us raise about £1,000 at this year's Beacon to Beach Fun Run.
Without the help of a whole raft of people, events like this just would not happen - the event marshalls and officials and particularly the St John Ambulance, the police and Minehead Running Club.
So many thanks to you all - not forgetting, of course, all the runners who make it possible.
Thanks are also due to The Hairy Dog in Minehead for continuing their financial support for the T-shirts which were particularly well received this year.
However, we have had a problem with the print on a few T-shirts - if you have one of these, please call me on 01643 821232 and we can arrange a replacement.
