HARRIET Gallagher, an “asset to the team” at Northfield House in Williton, won Learner of the Year in the Voyage Care Excellence Awards.

Northfield House is a home that supports individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities and Harriet was nominated by the registered home manager Stacey Bradbury, who went with her to the awards ceremony.

Harriet, 17, has been working at Northfield House, on Tower Hill, for the past six months while also attending college in Bridgwater.

“She has a diligent approach to her studies and is keen to learn and develop,” said Stacey.
