LOCAL charity Somerset Sight is appealing for people to donate unwanted audio books on CD due to a recent rise in demand.
The charity’s volunteer librarian Sue Walters said: “For many sight-impaired people, audio books are their windows to the world. They would be lost without them.”
The charity is looking for all types of audio books including children’s literature, thrillers and classics. Audiobooks on tape are not required.
