Yeovil police have issued an appeal for information regarding an attempted robbery on Monday, July 14th.
A woman was walking near the dialysis centre at Abbey Manor Park when approached by three males.
The men tried to get her car keys and purse but the woman held on to the items despite being pushed to the ground.
The three men ran off empty-handed. All of them were white and are believed to be in their early 20s.
One of the men was about 5ft 3ins tall and of muscular build with very short hair in wet gel.
Another was about 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build, with brown hair (short at the sides) and a spotty complexion.
The third man is described as about 5ft 3ins tall with brown hair. He was carrying two cans of beer in a plastic ring holder.
Police believe there are people around who may have made vital observations as the incident took place in the vicinity of a shop and pub, both of which were open at the time.
