THE Quantock Food Bank has received £1000 thanks to an event involving some 30 local artists and artisans working around the theme of recycling.

West Somerset LETS group along with Men in Sheds, Taunton, organised the sale of artists’ work in Crowcombe Church House at the end of June.

There was also a silent auction of donated works, including a giant garden gnome, a raffle, artists’ materials and refreshments plus some generous donations.
