THE gentle-walking group Amble Not Ramble will be venturing onto the heather slopes of Dunkery Beacon tomorrow (Wednesday August 9).
People with memory loss, lack of mobility or loss of confidence – and anyone else who would like to amble along – are welcome to join the monthly walks run by Minehead Dementia Action Alliance.
On Wednesday, the group will meet at Webbers Post car park at 10.30am and follow a wheelchair-friendly route that will be matched to suit the needs of people who come.
The walk will be no more than an hour long in total, with opportunities to turn back at any time. It is asked that vulnerable adults be accompanied by a carer.

“As Webbers Post might be hard to find for some people, you can always arrange to follow one of our cars out to the meeting place,” said Emily.
