GOOD weather helped to make an open gardens weekend at Allerford a great success. Ten villagers opened their gardens to the public for two days, with a large range of types, plantings and sizes for visitors to enjoy. Stalls and teas at the community hall and the village shops and forge provided extra interest to a large number of visitors.
