THE African Children’s Choir has been staying in Dulverton for the last few days – an unexpected visit due to cancellation of a couple of concerts elsewhere.

Good tidings for local firms as they are shortlisted in Somerset Business Awards 2026The children sang with Gary Barlow at the Queen’s Jubilee and have performed in Ireland and the USA on their tour which started in April.
Their concert at the Dulverton Congressional Church was full, thanks in [part to a push by Exmoor National Park Authority and social media.
As the event was last-minute, there was no charge but a ‘freewill offering’ was requested at the end.
