As a comparatively new member of the “Minehead Walking Stick Brigade”, I wonder why there is no handrail on the steps opposite Butlin’s.

How many times have I waited impatiently for a Good Samaritan to come along and help me either up or down the steps? Needless to say, someone always turns up – except in the winter!

A hand rail would at least help to keep my independence. With all the work now in progress, perhaps one could be included.
