A NUMBER of saddles have been stolen from a livery stable in the Combe Florey area and police are asking people across West Somerset to look out for them.

The 14 high value saddles were taken between 9pm on Friday, November 9, and 6am on November 10.

Two are described as a 16.5inch, with a suede sear, and 17inch Wintec brown synthetic saddle which has scuff marks on the back.

A black sparkle trimmed numnah (saddle blanket/pad) was also taken.

Police believe a vehicle may have been used to remove the items and would welcome any dashcam footage that could help the investigation. They are also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information. Call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5218250414.
