THREE fire engines were called to check out a report of a smoking fuse box at a property in Parks Lane, Minehead, at 5.35pm on Saturday (January 28).

The crew – from Minehead, Porlock and Williton – confirmed that there was a fire involving a fuse, which was allowed to cool naturally and checked with a thermal image camera. Western Power was requested to attend.
