‘TIME and Tide,’ a poetry book written by Watchet people about the town - a collection of funny, quirky, thoughtful and interesting poems - was this week launched by Watchet Arts Group.

Group chairman Molly Quint said: “To mark the occasion the ‘Pebbles Poets’ met in the town’s Pebbles Bar on Tuesday when poems from the book were read aloud by the author or a friend amid much applause and comment!”

She added that ‘Time and Tide’ is now on sale in local shops.
