POLICE are investigating an attempted burglary at West Somerset College in Minehead which happened in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.

Between midnight and 1am, damage was caused to a shed within the grounds of the college in Bircham Road.

Outward bound equipment used for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and trips were stored inside and details of any items stolen are still being obtained.

The police believe three people were involved – two men and a woman. The men were wearing hooded tops while the woman was wearing dark clothing.

The trio walked off from the college in the direction of the town’s hospital.

CCTV footage is being reviewed and these images have been released of people the police would like to speak to about the incident.

“Although the images are not of the best quality, we’re hoping someone may recognise the clothing worn by these people,” said a spokesman.
