FIRE crews used thermal imaging equipment to find a vehicle, with two occupants, that had crashed down an embankment on Cutcombe Hill, Wheddon Cross, last night (Friday).

Crews from Minehead and an operational assurance officer from Taunton went to the scene shortly before 11.30pm after the accident had been reported.

Some time was spent searching the area before finding that the vehicle had left the road and was about 15 metres down an embankment.

The two occupants were already free and clear of the vehicle, and they were dealt with by the police.
