TWO fire crews from Minehead and one from Porlock were called to the scene when a microwave over caught fire in a property in Luttrell Way, Minehead, on Friday evening.

The small fire was extinguished with a hose reel jet and the crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property. They also checked all the internal ducting to make sure the fire would not spread.
