The Regal Film Society launches the new year with the off-beat comedy Kajillionaire (12) starring Debra Winner, being screened at the Minehead Regal today (Tuesday, January 11) at 7.30pm.

Kajillionaire is a wildly original and moving comedy drama about two con-artists who have spent 25 years training their only daughter to follow in their footsteps until one scam changes everything.

Tickets costing £5 (Regal Film Society members, Friends, students/under 14s £3) may be booked in advance online and at the Regal box office (phone 01643 706430) between 9.30am-noon or by phone only from 1.30-4pm, Monday to Saturday.

The Regal bar is open for refreshments from 7pm. Some Covid restrictions remain in place to ensure that audiences and volunteers are protected. There will be one empty seat either side of individually booked seats or blocks of seats. Everyone will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided and wear a face mask at all times, except when eating or drinking.
