FIRE broke out in an upstairs boiler room at a property in Hilary Close, Carhampton, early this morning (August 21).

Two fire engines from Minehead went to the scene at 4.13am and the crews found a small fire behind a cavity wall behind an electrical installation. They dealt with it after cutting away plasterboard.

A gas detection monitor was among equipment used when dealing with the fire, which had been caused accidentally.
