A FIRE crew from South Molton was called to Bommertown Cross, Bottreaux Mill Cross, near Dulverton, where a vehicle was alight yesterday afternoon.

A compressed air foam jet and a hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire, but the vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze, which was reported at 12.47pm. The crew used a thermal imaging camera to check the area was safe before leaving the scene.
