Minehead Hospital held a competition in December for local children to design a Christmas bauble.

The entries were judged by the hospital’s general office team and the winners were Ophelia-Blue, four, Joey, five, Flora, six, and Soraia, eight.

All of the winners were from Knight’s Templar First School in Watchet, and they received a certificate and a book token.

The hospital said the judges’ decision was a difficult one as there was so much artistic talent, as well as ‘an awful lot of glitter’.

The hospital is holding a spring photography competition shortly, open to all ages.
