MINEHEAD and Williton fire crews were called to the scene when numerous people reported a large agricultural telehandler being on fire just off Doniford Road, near Watchet, on Friday evening. 

A half-acre of barley and two straw bales were also alight, and the flames were extinguished using compressed air foam, hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and small tools. The cause of the fire was accidental.
