A DATE has been announced for this year’s Wivey Show, which will be held in the town’s Recreation Ground.
The 108th Wiveliscombe Horticultural Society annual event will be on August 17.
It will be the third year the show has been in The Rec, its original home, since it returned after the Covid-19 pandemic.
There will be three marquees of flowers, vegetables, produce, cookery, handicraft, art, photography, poetry, and childen’s classes.
The event, sponsored by the Bear Inn, Wiveliscombe, also includes a variety of activities, music, entertainment, and trade stalls.
Schedules for the show are available through many of the town’s the shops and also in some in Wellington and local garden centres, or people can enter online, for free.
Entries close on August 10.
