Brothers cycle for hospice

TWO brothers who decided to do a sponsored bike ride in memory of a close family member who died of cancer, took part in the St Margaret’s Great Somerset Cycle 2017 last Sunday.

Now Louie and Charlie Liddle, aged 13 and 12, of Weacombe, West Quantoxhead, have raised £557 for St Margaret’s Hospice.

They did the 38-mile bike ride from St Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil to the one in Taunton in just under two and a half hours.

Taking part in the cycle ride was the boys’ idea after they read about it on the internet, and dad Kevin Liddle rode with them, as required by the organisers for anyone under 16.
