Choir in good voice for two concerts

THE Voices of Exmoor choir will present their two summer concerts in Dulverton Town Hall next Friday and Saturday (July 21 and 22).

Their light-hearted programme includes songs from some of the best known shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Show Boat and Half a Sixpence, and a tribute to the Beatles.

The choir, under the musical directorship of April Golding, assistant director Tim Marriott and accompanist Yoka Routledge, boasts over 40 members and is renowned for the joyful enthusiasm and informal atmosphere created by April and the members.

The choir is celebrating its 12th anniversary and has raised £20,000 in that time for local and national charities.
