Do you have links with Alcombe Rovers?

ALCOMBE Rovers are anxious to trace anyone involved with the football club in the past who has not been invited to their 70th birthday celebrations at Minehead Rugby Club on Saturday June 24.

Dan James, one of the event organisers, said: “We don’t want anyone feeling left out as we celebrate this special anniversary.

“A lot of people have helped to make the club a success over the years and we want to make sure they get the recognition they deserve.”

A highlight of the celebration will be an auction of pictures and shirts donated by sporting greats and collected by Dan, a devoted Manchester United supporter.

They include signed shirts from Lionel Messi, Ronaldo and Paul Pogba, and shirts signed by the entire Manchester City side and the Portugal Euro 2016 winners.

Guests can also take part in a question and answer session with former Manchester United star defender David May.

Anyone involved in the club who has not been contacted should ring Kev Williams on 077661 83285.
