Witness appeal for toilets vandal

By in Crime

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a man following a spate of criminal damage caused to toilets at Tarr Steps – which has been going on for nine years.

The latest incident took place on April 9 at the toilets at Tarr Steps, Dulverton, when the suspect was caught on CCTV as he entered all three toilets.

He pushed foam blocks into the U-bends, causing the toilets to flood, and police say the same kind of vandalism has been caused to the Tarr Steps conveniences over the past nine years.

He is described as white, of medium height with white hair and a white moustache. He was seen wearing a blue jumper, jeans and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information should call the police non-emergency number 101 and quote crime reference number 5217080914.
