New bus service launching - and it’s free

By in Transport

AFTER more than three months without public transport, the towns and villages between Minehead and Bridgwater will finally have their buses back on Monday – and they will be free.

Three buses will run each way, five days a week, for a trial period of a year, with EDF picking up the tab.

The service will be launched on Monday by Somerset Passenger Solutions, a joint company which buses workers into the Hinkley C site. The vehicles used for that are available during the day.
